For 34 years in Korea, I have practised structural aesthetic care guided by this fundamental principle. Through tens of thousands of treatments, I have come to understand that the skin is never an isolated surface. It mirrors the body's circulation, its structural balance and each person's rhythm of life.
When the body loses its balance, fatigue builds up. Sleep becomes fragile. Mental clarity fades. Over time, these internal changes inevitably leave their mark on the skin.
That is why I have never seen aesthetics as a mere way of improving appearance. My approach has always been to restore the conditions the body needs to regain its natural ability to recover.
From Technique to System
Rather than relying on intuition or passing techniques, I have devoted my career to building a structured, explainable system of care.
Drawing on the traditional Korean understanding of meridians, circulation and energy flow, I organised these principles into a clear methodology, refined through more than 20,000 clinical cases.
Over time, this research gave rise to what I call the Integrated Tracking Care Method — a system designed to observe the body, track its structural changes and guide the recovery process.
The philosophy behind this work goes beyond technique. It is about understanding structure, reading the body's flows and mapping the path back to balance.
BATANG, the foundation
In Korean, the word “Batang (바탕)” means foundation, base or underlying structure. It refers to the essential layer on which everything is built — the fundamental condition that supports balance, stability and growth.

A refined care ritual, inspired by the Korean royal court and carried through time, is reborn today at KAPSULE.
It is a protocol built on a rigorous system, founded on 34 years of structural aesthetic practice in Korea and more than 20,000 clinical cases. Rooted in the traditional Korean understanding of meridians and energy flow, this method combines traditional tools, precise pressure and rhythmic movements to restore natural circulation and recalibrate the skin's rhythm.
BATANG is KAPSULE PALAIS's signature programme: rather than focusing on the surface of the skin alone, it works on circulation, lymphatic pathways, muscular balance and structural alignment.
Why start with the face
Although the human body works as a single, integrated structure, imbalances often show on the face first: tension, puffiness, dull skin, loss of definition — frequently linked to blood circulation, lymphatic flow, muscle tension and imbalances in the neck and shoulders. Our facial treatments work on these underlying structures for better circulation, sharper contours and a visibly more balanced appearance.
OAK-AN (옥안)
A facial ritual using traditional jade tools, designed to boost circulation, stimulate lymphatic flow and restore clarity and vitality to the complexion. It comes as OAK-AN SU — hydration and skin balance — and OAK-AN JIN — anti-ageing and skin resilience, with targeted ampoules for elasticity and firmness. Duration: 1 hour.
SUSU-AN (수수안)
A high-precision treatment focused on structural balance. Warm towels, precise pressure and rhythmic stimulation of acupressure points along the hand meridians: a condensed diagnostic ritual that releases blockages, calms the nervous system and awakens body awareness.

The programme centres on deep hydration, skin balance and overall vitality, using high-tech Korean ampoules rigorously selected and adapted to each client's specific skin condition.
SUSU-AN
Just like your face, your hands hold the tensions that dull your radiance. Much more than a treatment, this 10-minute ritual is a reconnection. Through precise stimulation of the meridians, it releases blockages and boosts deep circulation. By releasing your hands, you awaken the vitality and natural light of your face.
OAK-AN JIN
The OAK-AN JIN treatment follows the complete OAK-AN facial ritual, using traditional jade and brass instruments. It combines Korean acupressure techniques, rhythmic pressure and care focused on stimulating circulation. What sets it apart is the use of specific ampoules formulated to support elasticity, firmness and an overall anti-ageing action.
